PRELIMINARY LANGUAGE TRAINING UNDER THE IMET PROGRAM (INTERNATIONAL MILITARY EDUCATION AND TRAINING)
Course Description:
English language training is carried out with using educational materials developed by specialists of the US Defense Language Institute. The main form of training is practical exercises, independent work using audio and video materials, as well as performing additional teachers’ assignments. The control of students' independent work is carried out by teachers during practical classes.
Course objectives:
1. Training of military personnel to the level necessary for successful continuation of training in specialized courses in the United States;
2. Passing the ECL test (English language comprehension test) with a score of at least 56 points out of a 100.
